This month, we celebrate the launch of LF Decentralized Trust. We discuss the role that IntellectEU and the Swift community are playing in advancing the G20's goals around enhanced payments experiences. And we invite readers to join us at Sibos and other events in October.
Major Milestone for the Open Source Community
In September, the Blockchain & Digital Assets space saw a significant development with the launch of the Linux Foundation’s new flagship organization, LF Decentralized Trust. This open-source foundation supports a growing ecosystem of blockchain, ledger, identity, cryptographic, and related technologies, marking a major milestone in the maturity and adoption of blockchain and distributed ledger solutions.
We are especially proud to be a founding member of LF Decentralized Trust and look forward to supporting the broader LFDT community as it continues to expand. Together with our partners, we aim to drive progress in this space through Catalyst Blockchain Manager, our solution for rapid prototyping and the development of production-ready systems using open-source technologies.
This month, we also engaged with the decentralized community at PostTrade 360° Nordic 2024 in Sweden and the European Blockchain Convention in Spain. As always, our team is focused on enabling organizations to jumpstart their blockchain activities and transition more mature projects into production. In October, we will further these discussions at Merge Madrid and look forward to deeper engagement on these topics.
In other blockchain news, Polygon Labs announced progress on its AggLayer project, which aims to create a blockchain interoperability infrastructure. The project is providing mutual benefits and incentives for collaboration between disparate ledger initiatives. As a collaborator on this project, IntellectEU provides Rollups-as-a-Service through Catalyst Blockchain Manager, enabling organizations to seamlessly connect with the AggLayer ecosystem.
In Payment Modernization, we, along with many in the financial industry, are preparing for Sibos 2024, taking place in Beijing from October 21-24. The event will bring together thousands of attendees to explore progress toward the G20 goals of improving payment experiences, with a focus on the central role played by the Swift community. You can learn more about these developments in a recent IntellectEU article.
We are particularly eager to discuss innovations in cloud-based infrastructure, such as Swift’s Alliance Cloud, and to assist organizations in adopting Swift’s zero-footprint strategy, advanced with the latest API-based services. As payments and interbank messaging continue their rapid transformation, IntellectEU remains ready to help clients adopt the latest tools and deliver lasting value to their customers.
Upcoming Events

We look forward to discussing innovations in cloud-based infrastructure, such as Swift’s Alliance Cloud, and the adoption of Swift’s zero-footprint strategy through the latest API-based services.
For those attending, our team would be happy to schedule a discussion.
Guided by the G20 Roadmap and rising customer expectations, Swift’s latest Proof of Value represents an opportunity for participating banks to help drive a modernization agenda. The goal is to enable the financial community to bring clarity and confidence directly to customers at all stages of the payment journey.
“IntellectEU is proud to support Swift in realizing the G20's goal of enhanced payments experiences for end customers. We’re delighted to be bringing our expertise and product capabilities to contribute to this ambitious roadmap for improved speed, cost, transparency, and accessibility in cross-border payments,” explains Hanna Zubko, Co-founder and CEO, IntellectEU Inc.

Interoperability across chains to create a flywheel of mutual success.
Polygon Labs’ AggLayer is aiming to solve issues around scalability and poor user experience by creating a unified network that provides secure, atomic interoperability among heterogeneous chains.
The AggLayer will be a decentralized protocol with two components: a common bridge and a ZK-powered mechanism that provides a cryptographic guarantee of safety for seamless, cross-chain interoperability.
