As 2023 comes to a close, we want to send a special thanks to our amazing teams for delivering once again on ambitious targets set out at the beginning of the year. Their dedication, innovation, and collaborative energy make IntellectEU what it is.
And thanks, of course, must go to our world-leading partners for contributing to the success of our ongoing mission: the digital transformation and modernization of financial services.
Your trust and collaboration have enabled us to achieve wonderful things this year. We've enjoyed new product launches, new partnerships, and during an outstanding Sibos 2023 witnessed new levels of maturity and industry alignment around distributed ledger technology.
We are delighted to be able to continue driving and passionately pursuing this trend with you over the next 12 months!
Collaboration is central to our role within the financial services sector. The following are some of our highlights for 2023:
‣ In April, IntellectEU collaborated with SMX and Plastics App to create a full circular economy platform service for the development, testing, and recycling of various materials, including but not limited to plastics traceability and circularity.
‣ In May, IntellectEU joined other financial services and technology innovators in supporting the launch of Canton Network, the first privacy-enabled interoperable blockchain network designed for institutional assets.
‣ IntellectEU added Canton to the list of protocols supported by our blockchain solution operating system, Catalyst Blockchain Manager.
‣ Also in May, IntellectEU became an AWS Services Delivery Partner for Swift connectivity, supporting the migration of Swift infrastructure to AWS cloud and providing integration and deployment of API channels and ISO 20022 advisory services.
‣ In August, IntellectEU was listed as a Swift CSP Assessment Provider with a particular focus on public cloud security. This milestone advanced IntellectEU's ongoing mission to help create secure financial ecosystems and underscored the company's expertise in cloud-based security solutions.
‣ In September, IntellectEU became a D7 Digital Market Partner of Deutsche Börse and Clearstream, demonstrating strong commitment to the development and deployment of next-generation financial services infrastructures and solutions.
‣ That same month, IntellectEU joined the Google Cloud Partner Advantage Program, adding further to its cloud partnerships and providing organizations with a path to leverage cloud migration in their digital transformation strategies.
We’re honored and thrilled to announce that IntellectEU’s Hanna Zubko has been elected to represent the General Membership on the Hyperledger Foundation Governing Board. From January, she will serve for a one-year term alongside Kaleido’s Sophia Lopez.
Hyperledger is at the heart of many leading IntellectEU client projects, with Hyperledger Fabric being one of several blockchain protocols supported by our DLT enabler, Catalyst Blockchain Manager.
At IntellectEU, we believe in the power of blockchain technology to transform business and society. This is one of the reasons that the Hyperledger open-source mission of collaboration and innovation resonates so deeply with our people.
Here's to another year of excellent Hyperledger projects.
When it comes to DLT within financial services, the words on everyone's minds as 2023 draws to a close, are undoubtedly interoperability, integration, and scalability.
It is by no coincidence that this year IntellectEU launched Catalyst Integration Manager, an enterprise-grade solution for the seamless integration of diverse core banking systems, payment rails, back-office applications, and blockchain networks.
Catalyst Integration Manager is your gateway to Swift messaging services to support zero Swift footprint deployment and ISO 20022 native implementation. The manager gives financial institutions the ability to coordinate complex multi-step, multi-application workflows to streamline the process of integration with Swift APIs.
As it does every year, Sibos brought the finance and banking world together for a festival of conversations, panels, and presentations exploring what is next for the industry.
Interoperability is a pivotal challenge. The organizations that understand blockchain now clearly see it is no longer a solution looking for a problem. And, they also understand that beyond creating efficiencies in financial market processes, DLT will soon play a role in the next age of cross-border payments.
Along with the insightful discussions, our team delivered a fantastic line-up of sessions, from Hanna Zubko’s fireside chat with collaborators from Broadridge, EquiLend, and Clearstream, to our Founder CEO Dirk Avau presenting an in-production decentralized KYC solution.
Hanna also sat down alongside Kelly Mathieson, Chief Business Development Officer at Digital Asset, for a fascinating discussion with Finextra TV on ‘Unlocking the value of digital assets’.
Thank you for your trust and collaboration!
