A future-ready Swift environment, delivered for Actinver
Actinver, one of Mexico's leading financial groups, partnered with IntellectEU to modernize its Swift infrastructure. The result: a stable, scalable messaging foundation powered by Catalyst Integration Manager and full ISO 20022 readiness for cross-border payments.
As financial institutions face mounting pressure to modernize their Swift infrastructure and align with evolving global messaging standards, Actinver, a leading Mexican financial group, recognized the need to comprehensively upgrade its systems. The scope of this modernization expanded significantly during the project, requiring a project team that could adapt and deliver a broader set of critical capabilities across environment upgrades, new CBPR+ transformations, and error service integration, all while coordinating tightly with Actinver's internal user acceptance testing (UAT) and deployment teams.
IntellectEU delivered a phased modernization programme for Actinver, evolving alongside project requirements to provide a stable, future-ready messaging foundation. The team delivered CBPR+ transformations, enabling native ISO 20022 cross-border payment processing. To bolster reliability, IntellectEU integrated a SOAP Error Service, ensuring robust handling across the Swift pipeline.
The delivery was anchored by an integrated UAT strategy that unified CBPR+, Catalyst, and Error Services, accelerating validation while managing complexity. The engagement concluded with a comprehensive knowledge transfer, including bespoke deployment manuals and direct on-site support, ensuring a seamless transition and empowering Actinver's internal teams to manage their new infrastructure.
Actinver has successfully modernized its Swift infrastructure, establishing a stable foundation, powered by Catalyst Integration Manager, and achieving full ISO 20022 readiness for cross-border payments. Despite an evolving project scope, IntellectEU's technical agility ensured the seamless delivery of a resilient messaging environment. This transformation not only meets current regulatory mandates but future-proofs Actinver's operations as ISO 20022 becomes the global standard, empowering their internal teams to navigate the evolving Swift ecosystem with confidence.
Delivery of CBPR+ transformations enabled Actinver to natively process ISO 20022-compliant cross-border payment messages, meeting current and future regulatory requirements.
Structured UAT releases for CBPR+, Catalyst Integration Manager, and Error Services allowed Actinver to validate all new capabilities in a controlled environment, ensuring a confident and smooth production deployment.
Comprehensive deployment manuals and hands-on UAT deployment assistance equipped Actinver's internal teams with the knowledge and tools to independently operate and maintain the upgraded infrastructure.
Actinver is now fully positioned to meet evolving global Swift standards and regulatory obligations, with an infrastructure designed to support the long-term industry-wide transition to ISO 20022.
