Supporting the Industry's Transition

From 14 November 2026, fully unstructured postal addresses will no longer be permitted in CBPR+ payment messages. Where postal address information is provided, it must be supplied in either a fully structured or hybrid format.

To support this transition, Swift introduced the Postal Address Registered Provider program. Providers included in the directory have confirmed that their applications can convert unstructured postal address data into compliant structured or hybrid formats. Self-attestations are valid for one year and apply to production-ready solutions.

For organizations preparing for ISO 20022, the directory provides additional confidence when selecting technologies to support compliance and improve data quality.
